Unit 2.4 Legislation and principles of care and support

Learners should know and understand the role of the National Assembly and Welsh Government in setting legislation and policy for health and social care in Wales (devolved authority). Legislation and policies to include regulatory and advisory legislation, subordinate legislation/secondary legislation and bills and acts. learners should know and understand how professional practice is supported by the registration of professionals, regulatory bodies and codes of conduct and professional practice.
